The Language School
The language school “FreudeSprache International” was founded in May 2016 by Jin He in the heart of Düsseldorf. FSI is a private educational institution for language and culture with an international focus that promotes social integration in an academic and professional context. A diverse range of German courses enables learners from different countries to complete all levels from A1 to C1 or to prepare specifically for everyday professional life.
The language school places particular emphasis on intercultural and multilingual communication. It sees itself as an open learning and meeting place for German and international participants and promotes exchange between different cultures. Cultural diversity is seen as a key strength and is actively integrated into the lessons.
In addition to German courses, the language school also offers other language courses, depending on demand. The aim is to create a cosmopolitan, respectful, and international learning environment in which language skills and cultural understanding are promoted in equal measure.
Exam Center
In August 2017, FSI became a certified telc examination center, so that the telc examination can be taken directly at our premises. You can also take preparatory courses for the telc exam, as well as for the DSH and TestDaF, all at our center.
Individual Courses
In a personal preliminary discussion, our consultants will go over your learning goals with you and will make you an individual offer based on this talk. Intensive courses for the beginning of your studies or relocation to Germany, weekend courses for working people, even online courses from abroad, all are possible. Of course, we are also happy to assist companies to prepare employees for an assignment at a foreign company or international cooperation. A Solid Basis
To prevent mistakes from creeping in, which tend to become ingrained in the early stages of learning, we place great emphasis on building a solid foundation. Our German language courses are therefore taught by teachers who also speak English very well and, where possible, Chinese. This makes it easier to understand grammar and vocabulary. It also makes it easier to ask questions.
The same principle applies to other languages. At first, the lessons are conducted largely in the student's own language or English, then more and more in the target language, until it makes up the entire lesson.
Communication in Focus
The goal of a language course is usually clear: at the end, you want to be able to communicate confidently in the target language. However, even after several years, learning success often falls short of expectations, especially with more challenging languages such as German. Although grammatical structures are used correctly, the right words are often missing in spontaneous everyday conversation.
For this reason, our language courses clearly focus on communicative competence. Our participants not only acquire sound language skills, but also the confidence to speak and write actively – in everyday life, in their studies, and in their professional lives.
