Since September 2017, the FSI language school has been an official telc examination center. On site, the language exams can be taken at the levels of German A1, B1, B2, and C1 Hochschule (University). The certificates are recognized worldwide and are based on the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). For more information about telc exams, please visit telc.net.
The examinations are evaluated by the telc gGmbH. Certificates are usually available after 4-6 weeks (exams A1-B2) or 3 weeks (C1 Hochschule). Please note that the evaluation of the exam may take longer in some cases, and plan for the fact that delays may occur. You will be informed by e-mail as soon as the certificates have arrived. Afterwards, you can pick up your certificate from us during office hours upon presentation of a valid ID.
FSI also organizes language exams in foreign languages supported by telc. These include English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Turkish, Russian, Polish and Arabic. A group of at least 6 participants must register for these tests.
If desired, a self-selected exam date is also possible. This requires a minimum of 6 participants and must be requested at least 14 days in advance.
Please be aware that once we have sent your registration to the telc GmbH, we will not be able to refund your registration fee for any reason, inculding sickness or other emergencies.
